STECS Throttle System - Max

Based on a solid steel platform, the STECS Max can be used as a desktop stand-alone device, or mounted to a sim rig or chair mount. Includes MFH (MultiFunctional Holder) compatible fixture and one MFH to connect frontal extension modules.

Awesome Throttle unit

In short this throttle unit is excellent. The only downside is its sheer size, have struggled to find a spot on my desk for this. But boy is it worth it. Once you get your head around programming some of the virtual buttons it seems like there is almost nothing this can't do. I have yet to set up the detents in my games but i have changed them in and out on the stick itself and it is an absolute dream, it is so easy to do. The throttle action is also so smooth, I would not use anything else from here on else unless i absolutely had to. Same as every other VKB product i own

All Good. Warthog has more metal but less everything else. A little on the expensive side. I would by again.

A Good Device Made Incredible!

As a STECS:Max purchaser I've been pleased with VKB's production quality, fit & finish. Minor concerns re: hat contour preferences or only x1 3-way switch are just that. What I wasn't quite prepared for was the powerhouse that is the vkbconfig software & the amazing community & support waiting for me in their official Discord channel.
These two things alone make the VKB STECS (of any combination) the only device worth purchasing at it's price-point. Make ANY button or axis do (nearly) whatever you want it to do & there's someone in the discord channel who'll show you how to do it: either via screen grabs or a 1-on-1 talk-through tutorial.

Zero regrets, can't recommend STECS & VKB highly enough!
