Just mounted my Gunfighter base on the VKB UCM Long earlier this week and it is an absolute beauty of a mount.

Build quality is insane. It's a thick heavy steel that feels premium and industrial grade. No flex at all, even during some aggressive sorties I've had in DCS. It simply doesn't budge an inch once it's clamped on. Installation was straightforward, clamps securely to the desk, and the Gunfighter adapter plate is spot-on.

My one slight contention is that the clamps was leaving behind a slight temporary imprint on my desk mat, however this was easily resolved by attaching adhesive felt pads to the base of the clamps. I don't consider this a major issue just something to perhaps consider adding to future iterations of this otherwise top quality mount.

Overall, If you're running a Gunfighter (especially with an extension like I am), then I recommend this highly.

I recently picked up the VKB STECS Max, and I'm thrilled I went for VKB over my other shortlisted choices.
Build quality is exceptional and everything feels rock solid and premium, with zero flex, flimsiness, or cheap vibes. The throttle grips are incredibly comfortable for long sessions, and the overall ergonomics just click.

What really stands out is the insane level of customization. Adjusting the friction/tension on the throttle slides is super easy with the included screws. My Max bundle came with extra button modules, hats and an awesome detent set that let you swap and expand the controls effortlessly. I genuinely feel like I've picked up something that is going to last an extremely long time.

No regrets at all, this thing is a beast and feels like a serious step up with my flight sim setup. Highly recommended if you're serious about quality and personalization.

I am extremely impressed with the Gunfighter Mk.IV MCU. From the very moment I opened the box (which in itself was nicely packed) I was immediately taken aback by the sheer premium build quality of the grip.

Assembling it all together was surprisingly easier than expected (I'm not the most technical person). I ended up buying a UCM-S for my Stecs Max and a UCM-L for this gunfighter base. Found adding springs and adjusting the spring tension was also quick and easy.

The STECS Mk.II Standard is the throttle you buy when you’re sick of mucking around with plasticky toys and want something that feels like it was built by an engineer, not a bloke with a glue gun. It’s solid, smooth, and has that “yeah mate, this’ll last longer than my last girlfriend”.

The Gunfighter Premium is one of those rare bits of sim hardware that feels less like a joystick and more like a precision instrument. It’s built for pilots who want absolute control authority, zero slop, and a grip that genuinely belongs in a high‑end space‑sim cockpit. VKB already had a strong reputation among streamers and serious sim pilots, and that credibility is exactly what pushed me to finally step into the endgame of joysticks.

Solid as they come. I literally don't see these failing anytime soon.

I have to admit, the service on replacement parts pretty darn good. I heard it happened online but I was a bit sceptical HOWEVER, I literally broke the PCB in my Gunfighter Mk.IV and Oscar was nice enough to send me another one free off charge with just payment for shipping. I'd say everything about VKB is fantastic EXCEPT 1 THING. And that is that you guys don't sell left handed high quality metal grips. That said, it doesn't make the entire product of what I purchased any worse. It's all still very fantastic.

The moment I started using it, the quality of the buttons stood out—they have a crisp, satisfying feel that makes every input deliberate and smooth. For someone just getting into flight sims, that kind of tactile confidence goes a long way.

The adjustable palm rest is another highlight. Being able to fine‑tune the grip to my hand size made the stick feel natural right away, and it’s a comfort boost during longer sessions. It’s clear VKB put real thought into ergonomics, not just features.

Sat my Airforce exams a few months prior of which we used the "black and orange" competitor, everyone complained about how bad they were. When it came time to buy pedals for myself, enamored by how great the Gladiator NXT is, bought these. Nothing but precise perfection. Easy to set up, chucked on the floor and instantly recognised by all titles that I fly in. Truly afantastic product!

I was looking at virpil and they were all on back order from EU , then I saw VKB , after 2 weeks of research and reviews on you tube after work I decided to give them a go and got the gunfighter....I cannot stress enough how game changing the smoothness andadjustable feeling these have.. they have changed my thoughts on joysticks in general. And AU store .. amazing. I would use these over virpil any day due to AU Store ... I will be back for the next one in a year for my dual stick set up

Use ot for my phoneand a tablet, holds it well with the rubber backing, the space in the bottom middle is perfect to have the charger plugged it, way more handy then I thought it would be! Highly recommend

It's such a massive step up from my x56, so smooth and not a single bit of deadzone needed. Well worth the money if you're very into your space/flight sims
