ALERT: STECS MTG (Modern Throttle Grip) Updates

Hi Everyone,

VKB HQ announced on Reddit some changes that are coming to the STECS Modern Throttle Grip for all versions of the throttle. Check it out on r/HOTAS.

The new versions are now listed for purchase with an expected shipment date in mid December. Prices remain unchanged.

The remaining current versions of all STECS models we have in stock have been discounted by 10% (not stackable with discount codes). During Black Friday sale, the total discount will be a massive 20%!
But hurry as stock is limited!

This update comes in response to feedback from many users who experienced unwanted sideways movements when trying to move in a single direction with the thumb ministick. With so many voices raising this concern, VKB HQ couldn’t ignore it—so here’s the solution.

Current MTG Grip:

The current version of the MTG Grip includes an Analog Ministick with center push.

Updated MTG Grip:

All new STECS Mk.II Throttles (all submodels) will have the original thumb ministick replaced by a 5-way hat switch (4-way plus center push). Additionally, a 2-axis ministick will be introduced under the index finger across all submodels, replacing the push button.

For current STECS owners with the thumb ministick who would prefer the upgraded hat, VKB HQ will produce a limited batch of replacement MTG half-grips, available at a reduced cost.
