The Omni Throttle is the ideal controller for the enthusiastic space pilot.
Most pilots choose a straight controller for their dominant hand while using a Omni Throttle in the other.

The Omni Throttle through its angled stick provides a natural feel for spacecraft-specific controls and manoeuvres like strafing.

Simmers may choose from the following product options:

1. Choose a Gladiator EVO Omni Throttle - left or right-handed
The Omni Throttle can be converted to a straight stick with a "Right / Left-Hand  Gunfighter SCG to GNX Conversion Kit" (click here - please choose correct left / right hand).

2. Choose a Gladiator EVO SCG Premium or Standard and add a Omni Throttle Adapter (OTA) for Gladiator - left or right-handed

3. Choose a Gunfighter Mk.IV SCG Premium or Standard and add a Omni Throttle Adapter (OTA) for Gunfighter - left or right-handed

Why choose a straight stick with an OTA?
This will allow you to swap between the straight stick and the angled stick with hardly any effort.

I am new to flight & space simulation. Which throttle should I choose?

In very simple terms you should choose a flight stick, a throttle and ideally rudder pedals.

Throttle

Flight sim:
For military aircraft the best option is the STECS Mk.II series. It has many buttons, switches and axes that are ideal for highly complex aircraft.
For general and commercial aviation the GNX THQ modules are a great option as it is highly expandable and customisable to any aircraft types.

For left-handed pilots, there is the option to choose a left-hand SCG Gladiator or Gunfighter straight stick combined with a right-hand STECS Space Throttle.

Space sim:
The new STECS Space Throttle is ideal for all space sim games. Its innovative design of a movable throttle handle provides an immersive and intuitive way to control any spacecraft.
The Omni Throttle Gladiator / Gunfighter is a very popular choice as the angled stick allows a natural feel in spacecraft control.

Flight & Space sim hybrid:
The Omni Throttle Gladiator is an excellent hybrid solution as for flight sims the x-axis can be locked and the springs in the y-axis removed thereby converting the controller into a fully functional aircraft throttle.

Which games can be played with VKB throttles?

VKB throttles work with most PC sim and other games, including all popular flight & space sim games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, DCS, X-Plane, IL-2 Sturmovik, War Thunder, Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous etc..
VKB throttles may even be used for games such as Farm Simulator, Train Simulator, Battlefield, etc..

Can VKB throttles be mixed and matched? Are there any limitations?

Yes, you can choose any combination of VKB throttles / hardware.

Want a STECS throttle with a Gladiator flight stick? No problem.
Upgrade later to a higher STECS version? Sure, everything is modular.
Playing flight and space sims but want to easily swap between an Omni Throttle and a straight stick? Yes, all that can be done!

What platforms are VKB throttles compatible with?

VKB throttles are compatible with Windows PCs.
