Perfect

I bought this as an upgrade to my first HOTAS stick, an X56. I could have chosen something more economical but once I saw the Gunfighter I couldn’t resist. If you’re going to use something, why buy twice?

The difference is predictably night and day. Its movements are smooth, it’s comfortable to grip, it feels sturdy, and it’s easy to reconfigure in hardware and software. I haven’t once felt short of buttons. It feels professional.

As for the ultimate upgrade, I think the aluminium body was well worth it. There’s nothing wrong with plastic, but I can’t imagine it would feel the same without the extra weight and thermal inertia. It’s cold to the touch. It just feels good.

My measure of money well spent on a premium product is how little it irritates you. Good tools are pleasant in skilled hands (still working on the skill part). The Gunfighter IV easily delivers. I feel no urge to buy another stick, and if it lasts, I doubt I will.

The base and grip are both amazing and all of the inputs are amazingly accurate. All the buttons and inputs feel amazing and also sound amazing and the software also is incredibly powerful and allows for an astonishing amount of customisation.

Phenomenal Upgrade from an Already Amazing Joystick

I was hesitant to upgrade to a Gunfighter with the MCG-U grip as my Gladiator SCG was so good. Obviously it was going to be an upgrade, but was it even possible to improve enough to justify the cost?

Well, somehow VKB did it. It's a phenomenal stick, definitely worth the upgrade. I only wish I'd bought it sooner

Perfect Product, Perfect Experience

I purchased the Gunfighter Mk.IV in late Jan 2024. The device is brillient quality, smooth, robust, and very accurate. VKB customer service made shipping very easy as I was out of town for a bit and they accomodated this and provided recommendations and options.

And, what I consider to be the best VKB feature, the software!! The software is second to none and gives you every option you could think of when it comes to setting up your device; I use the wheel brake lever in combination with my T-Rudder Mk.IV in order to use differential braking in DCS. The best part is that once you save the configuration to the blackbox, you do not need to run the software for it to do exactly as you desire.

VKB also has a discord server run by a community of enthusiatic consumers that are very helpful when it comes to getting into the functions of the software, and can help you with anything VKB related. Perhaps join the discord and chat to people before placing your order.

Where possible, I will remain purchasing VKB products due to every aspect of their hardware, software, customer service, and communications contributing to literally the best purchasing experience that I have ever had (I am not even slightly exaggerating).

I have 2 buttons that need to be replaced. I asked how to return them for warranty and you want me to take videos and pics of the issues?
Do you think I really want to return these for the fun of it? What kind of warranty policy is that?
