EVO Product line
This is SUCH an upgrade from my last stick. The construction is amazing; It feels so good in hand.
I used the VKB Gladiator joystick to replace a mouse for Elite Dangerous, and I can accurately select the various minutiae of the ED interface and map system more efficiently than i could with my mouse. It is the most comfortable joystick I've ever owned, and I'm never going back.
Before purchasing the Gladiator EVO, I was using a Logitech Extreme Pro which was inherently instable due to its use of potentiometer and it also didn't a good job keeping its center position which made it very difficult to use it in a sensitive situation such as landing or performing tight maneuvers in flight sims.
Now with my new purchase, I'm super happy that I am able to maintain accurate input on my controls thanks to VKB's quality sensors and controller units.
Moreover, it comes in very handy that I'm able to modify the unit to my taste using the included kits such as tensions, weights and even the buttons.
Finally, being able to re-map / assign different functions to all 50+ buttons AND being able to save/load the configurations is just mind blowing.
I highly recommend this unit to anyone who is a serious flight simmer / gamer needing a professional touch in their setup. (Currently playing the following titles using this superb stick : X-Plane 12, MSFS, Elite Dangerous, Arma 3, etc.)
I purchased this for Comanche (not supported) and easy flight games but have not found one game that recognises the joystick. I have searched the internet for a list of supported games but found none. Flight simulators might support and recognise the stick but they don't interest me. Yes there are instructions on Steam that involve editing system files (.ini) but I don't think anyone should have to do that. It's like game developers don't even know this joystick exists.

VKB joysticks and controllers work in all games which provide joystick support. In most of these games the user has to bind the joysticks before playing.

Lots of adjustments and buttons. I use it predominantly for Helicopters in msfs so I took the tension springs off and tightened the dampers up a bit. Would love a 10cm extension though.
