I done my homework when upgrading from my cheap hotas...the reveiws suggested this is good for small hands, and are right - the extra palm rests give that needed adjust ability. More than enough buttons and it arrived super fast.

After a bunch of homework to upgrade from my cheap hotas - I settled on this. I have small hands, so reached out too some forums, which recommended this. They were right. Shipping was super fast. Just wish it came with the 'M' detent so I could have a 50% setting.

very pleased with VKB when i first enquired about what i required to fly a heli they were extremely helpful sending me what equipment i needed and videos to watch so i had all the tools to make a decision and went ahead with the purchase the website was easy to follow and i received the package within 10 days the after sales service was very good as i had a few setup problems i would recommend them and worth a look at

The vkb Stecs is worlds apart from more budget friendly joysticks at a decent price, despite being the model with the least features it still possess more than enough buttons for most. Works great for any aircraft and is easy to configure out of the box, if your not using its more complex features like custom detents. Would recommend this over any other throttle at this price range.

Package came it was well packed and easy to install. The initial set up was easy but it was a bit harder to set up for DCS world. Setting up the idle throttle and afterburner throttle i needed a tutorial on youtube to figure it out and downloading the program from the VKB site to configure the controls otherwise works fantasic i love it.

I am a real fan of right to repair, and the fact that this is super modular and easy to repair is amazing. There is a big community to help with any issues. I play elite dangerous and wanted this to have forward throttle but a recentering reverse. It came with a plate and screws to fashion it to do exactly that. They feel super solid and I can’t wait to see what else I can do with them. There are also sheets you can fill out for when you map out all the buttons, which was a huge help. Highly recommend.

have had this throttle for probably a month now and have enjoyed the time spent using it. software has a learning curve but definitely the best I've worked with overtime, makes programming the smallest of things possible if that's your fancy. Having the modular buttons and switches was what mainly sold it to me compared to other gear as I'm an all rounder pilot and fly an abundance of planes and not have interest in the replicas bur is a great option for those that are similar. Great customer support and shipping process what quick and easy.
