Which games can be played with VKB controllers?
VKB controllers work with most PC sim and other games, including all popular flight & space sim games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, DCS, X-Plane, IL-2 Sturmovik, War Thunder, Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous etc..
VKB controllers may even be used for games such as Farm Simulator, Train Simulator, Battlefield, etc..I am new to flight & space simulation. Which controllers should I choose?
In very simple terms you should choose a flight stick, a throttle and ideally rudder pedals.
1. Joystick
You have the option between the Gladiator EVO series and the premium Gunfighter Mk.IV series.
The Gladiator EVO is a fantastic mid-priced controller with high-tech features. It comes with multiple grip options.
You can adjust the gimbal to adjust the stick movement extension exactly how you like it.
You won’t find a better controller in this price range.
The Gladiator EVO is by far the most popular joystick!For general aviation, military aircraft and space sim purposes we recommend the ‘Space Combat Grip’ SCG grip unless you specifically want to fly the F-14 or WWI/II warbirds only in which case you could opt for the F-14 grip or the WWII Combat Edition KG12 grip.
The Gunfighter Mk.IV series was released in 2023 and boasts the ultimate in joystick technology.
You get the full gimbal adjustability with ultra-precise movements.
And you can add stick extensions if you want to strive for the very best stick precision.We recommend the MCG grip as it is the most versatile and perfect for all types of aircraft.

VKB controllers are compatible with Windows PCs.
They are not compatible with Xbox, PS5, Apple or any other platforms.What setup do you recommend for gliders?
The best option is a Gunfighter stick with 200mm extension mounted on a UCM desk mount, plus T-Rudder pedals.

VKB Gladiator paired with STECS STSThe Gladiator NXT Evo is fantastic. Well priced for the quality of product. I upgraded from a Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS 4 and it's miles better! The SCG grip feels premium and works a treat with both Star Citizen and MSFS 24 - paired with the STECS Space Grip (STS).

STECS STS - great with space and aviation!Excellent! I'm using the STECS STS for Star Citizen and it works a treat. love that I can use the throttle's Y axis as normal, then have the strafe up and down control the ship's movement. I've paired the STECS with a Gladiator NXT Evo and it's perfect!
The STECS also works great for MSFS 24.
That's the reason I got the STS version so I could use the STECS with space flight and aviation.

How do they do this for the price??I chose the EVO F-14 Combat Edition throttle mainly for DCS, but also for MS2024. It's been a joy from the get go, and an amazingly high-quality stick for the price.

Wow. Just wow!I chose the STECS throttle after considerable research, and have been duly amazed at the quality, feel and functionality of the throttle quadrant. More buttons and functions than I know what to do with (lol), and the amazingly solid and progressive feel of the throttles themselves has been a revelation.

Versatile Omni ThrottleThis has completely changed my experience playing space simulators coming from a HOTAS. this omni grip paired with a right hand stick to create a HOSAS setup is paramount when navigating a 6 dimensional space and can easily be configured to work as a throttle for flight sim as well.

Very solid button box - Highly recommend!Very impressed with this module. Has an impressive amount of buttons and I love how highly customisable it is. It came with extra axes that can be swapped in to give the flaps and landing gear levers extra or fewer positions to lock in. Not to mention the software is very useful in tweaking it to your liking!

Got this because I play both Space and regular combat flight simsGot this because I play both Space and regular combat flight sims. Was very happy with the build quality and the adjustability of every contrl axis.
Was a little worried that the X/Y axis on the handle would be awkward to handle while in a non-space game, but it's trivial to adjust the dampeners on those springs which effectively locks them down so it can function as a solid handle.
